The “World Ju-Jitsu Centre” is the international Headquarter of the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation, an international organization headofficed in London and devoted to studying and developing Ju-Jitsu.
Our centre is in Florence, some hundred metres from the old town centre of what is one of the most fascinating towns in the world, one that gave prestige to some of the most famous artists and personalities of all time such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Dante Aligheri, Cimabue to name but a few.
Florence represents the very history of Italy. Not only was it the capital city of our country and is rich in monuments and works of art but it also was the cradle of the Renaissance with its European bankers, such as the aristocratic Medici family financing entire nations and kingdoms from the 1400 to the 1700. What is more, it gave birth to Queens and Popes.
In the very State County of Tuscany, in over 600 square metres is located the World Ju-Jitsu Centre, the main dojo of the WJJC, organization founded by the Florentine Adriano Busà, Ju-Jitsu master of international fame, who has developed extraordinary self defence skills by means of an entire life spent on the tatami and a number of travels around the world.
Several different activities coexist in our very modern centre: Ju-Jitsu, the lethal martial art of the samurai, reworked into our very modern method or the highly professional close combat with STS (Special Training Service) method, conceived for security officers and military and now also open to civilians. Then again, functional training, Fight Jitsu, Kobudo (in depth study of the traditional Japanese weapons).
The World Ju-Jitsu Centre is conceived for self defence intended in ample sense. Our courses are open to anyone wishing to learn, either kids and teenagers, men and women, beginners and experts.
Here at the World Ju-Jitsu Centre, throughout the year one might come across masters of international fame from several countries, who come and visit us as guests, teachers, partners, members or as our founder's friends.
